Abstract: Static experimental study and finite element analysis with contact nonlinearity has been carried out for a new type stone curtain wall with back channels. The test and numerical results show that the stone curtain wall can satisfy the wind strength requirement. And no obvious stress concentration is observed around the back-connected support, which proofs that this new type stone curtain wall has good mechanical property.
